Davka Docs 2 for Microsoft Word
Davka Docs integrates five classic Hebrew texts of Judaism into Microsoft Word for Windows:
- Tanach in Hebrew and English
- Rashi on Chumash
- Siddur in Nusach Ashkenaz and Nusach Sepharad
Davka Docs sets up a separate "Davka" tab within the Microsoft Word ribbon, from which you can access these texts, easily and efficiently. Davka Docs for Microsoft Word is ideal for students, educators, and institutions that need access to these texts to prepare educational materials or for reference use.
Click the Davka Docs tab and the list of available books appears on the screen. Choose the book and relevant chapter or section that you would like to open. The text instantly appears in a new Word file, and can be copied and pasted into all of your Word documents.
It's easy to open and utilize texts with Davka Docs! Navigate the Tanach by book and chapter, the Talmud by tractate and page number, or access the Siddur by Nusach (Sephardic or Ashkenazic) and specific Tefillah (Shacharit, Musaf, etc). The Hebrew text of the Tanach is provided in two formats -- with nikud (vowel points), and with nikud and trop (cantillation marks). In addition, the Tanach is divided further into separate databases of weekly Torah readings and Haftarot for Sabbath and holidays.
Additionally, the texts of Rashi on Chumash, the Siddur and Mishnah include nikud (vowel points).
